Midway through the fall of 2016, several University of Michigan autonomy-based robotics teams met and collectively decided to form the Michigan Applied Robotics Group (MARG). MARG intends to facilitate beneficial collaboration between teams, strengthen student teams’ relationships with University resources and industry partners, and match graduate student mentors with undergraduate students pursuing complex projects. The main goal of MARG is to support the University of Michigan in becoming the national center for robotics development. UM::Autonomy is proud to be a member of MARG and looks forward to making meaningful contributions to the University of Michigan’s robotics program.
